Garden Art, or… Gnomes Rock!

Miggins, a Marten Bradley original

Miggins, a Marten Bradley original

Miggins is my resident garden gnome. He’s the very first in a line of really cool, custom gnomes by Marten Bradley. He   sculpts gnomes with almost any theme you want. He’s done a surfer gnome, a prison gnome, a motorcross gnome, a yoga gnome and more! Mine has the “rock on” hand in the air (hidden by iris) because Marten says, “Your garden rocks!” These are very cool pieces. Anyone that’s anyone has one. (or at least covets one!)

Name This Tree

Who am I?

Who am I?

This is a miniature tree I’ve had, in a plastic pot from the nursery, for about 5-6 years. Can anyone name it for me? It’s so sweet, but has never bloomed. It looks like a dwarf  Robinia, but which one, I don’t know. Is anyone out there a Robinia expert? Also, do they take  many years before they start blooming? ( I swear I’m going to transplant it into a bigger, prettier pot this year! I swear!)
